They almost ran out of baseballs at Marlins Park as Atlanta team clobbered the
Miami team pitching staff, scoring 8 runs while Mike Soroka(1-1)with
effective use of the bullpen mystified Miami.
 
Soroka looked very much in control throughout the night.  He allowed only 6
hits and no walks in 7 innings.  Soroka chalked up 8 strikeouts reducing his
ERA from 7.07 to 4.71.  Atlanta finished with 16 hits while Miami ended up
with 9.  
 
Sandy Alcantara(2-2) was the loser.  Atlanta knocked him around a bit, as he
gave up 6 runs in 5 innings.
