Second baseman Jose Altuve had 2 base hits as the Houston ballclub topped the
Los Angeles(AL) team in 11 innings by a score of 6 to 5 at Minute Maid
Park.
 
Both teams were tied at 5 runs apiece after nine innings.  Finally, Houston
pulled the game out in the 11th inning.  Dustin Garneau stroked a base-hit.
Yuli Gurriel stepped into the batter's box and he ripped a one-base hit.
Myles Straw then lined a single giving Houston the win as 40,740 happy fans
joyfully celebrated.  Los Angeles(AL) was out-hit by Houston, 14 hits to 11.
 
Brad Peacock(1-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 1/3 of an inning. Mike
Mayers(0-2) took the loss in relief.  Houston now has a record of 13-8.  Not
able to get much going in recent weeks, Los Angeles(AL) is 2-8 of late and
now has an overall record of 7-14.
