Sean Newcomb had a strong outing at Truist Park as the Atlanta ballclub beat
the San Francisco club by the count of 2 to 0.
In the bottom of the 4th inning Atlanta scored 2 runs when they came up with 3
base hits. They would prove to be the difference in the contest. Neither
team managed to score after the 4th inning.
The victory was credited to Newcomb(1-4) who went 6 and 1/3 innings, allowing

loser.
