Charlie Morton(1-1) and Gerrit Cole(0-1) treated the Tampa Bay fans to a fine
pitching duel at Tropicana Field. The Tampa Bay club eventually emerged as
victors over the New York (AL) ballclub by the score of 3 to 1.
Tampa Bay started with a bang, jumping out to an early lead in their half of
the first scoring one runner using 2 hits. Diego Castillo pitched a perfect
ninth to earn his 1st save.
