Javier Baez lofted one into the 'cheap seats' as the Chicago (NL) team
defeated the San Diego club by the score of 6 to 5 at Wrigley Field.

San Diego was unable to recover after Chicago (NL) went ahead in the 2nd
inning scoring 2 runners on 2 hits. The big moment was provided by Steven
Souza Jr who made the Chicago (NL) fans a happy lot when he cracked a two-run
shot. San Diego had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.

The win was credited to Kyle Hendricks(3-0) who went 6 innings allowing 2
runs. Hendricks got relief help from Craig Kimbrel who gained credit for his
7th save. Zach Davies(3-1) was the loser.

'It's a disheartening loss, no question about it' said San Diego's manager
'But we have to get over it and get ready for the next game.'
