In a startling finish the Chicago (NL) ballclub staged a comeback then held on
to win over the Arizona team by a score of 7 to 6 at Chase Field.
Chicago (NL) took the lead for good in the top of the 6th inning with 3 runs
on 3 base hits. Ian Happ initiated the scoring when he clubbed a solo home
run. Kris Bryant followed next and he drew a walk. Javier Baez then smashed
a two-run homer. Chicago (NL) totaled 9 hits on the night.
The victory was credited to Jon Lester(4-1) who went 6 innings, allowing 1
run. Alec Mills preserved the game for Lester, recording his his 1st save.
