One run was the difference at Globe Life Field as the Houston club defeated
the Texas ballclub 8 to 7.
Carlos Correa was a thorn in the side of the hometown fans as he enjoyed a
fine day at their team's expense. He clubbed a three-run home run in the 1st
inning and delivered a base-hit bringing home two baserunners in the 6th
inning. Texas had a chance in the 9th but they came up short.
Blake Taylor(3-1) was the winner allowing no runs in 2 innings. Taylor got
help from Roberto Osuna who earned his 25th save. Rafael Montero(2-3) was
the loser in relief. He surrendered 4 runs and 5 hits in 2/3 of an inning.
Houston won for the 6th straight time. Houston's manager was clearly happy
after the game -- 'Everything is clicking for us right now.'
