The game started off with Atlanta taking the lead in the first with 3 runs on
3 hits. Ronald Acuna led off and started the attack as he slapped a single.
Ozzie Albies followed, but he was set down on strikes. Freddie Freeman then
tripled scoring a run. Marcell Ozuna followed, but he was set down on
strikes. Johan Camargo came to the plate and cracked a two-run shot. That
early run support was enough for Cole Hamels(2-4) and Atlanta. Both teams
ended up with 10 hits on the night.
Clayton Kershaw(10-2) was the losing pitcher. Despite taking the loss, he
whiffed 10 batters in 6 innings.
