Josh James didn't allow a hit until the 6th inning as the Houston club won at
Minute Maid Park in dramatic fashion over the Los Angeles(AL) club, the final
score, 3 to 2.
The game was decided in the 9th inning. After two were out Yuli Gurriel
delivered a one-base hit. Kyle Tucker came next and he doubled resulting in
a mighty exciting win for Houston and the 39,906 home town fans in
attendance. Houston had 5 hits overall, while Los Angeles(AL) had 2.
The win went to Roberto Osuna(1-0) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. The
right-handed James lost a no-hitter when David Fletcher homered with one out
in the 6th inning. Keynan Middleton(0-1) suffered the loss in relief.
