Jose Altuve touched them all and had 2 RBI and Lance McCullers didn't allow a
hit until the 7th inning as the Houston ballclub defeated the Boston team in
10 innings by a score of 7 to 5 at Minute Maid Park.
The game was deadlocked at 5 after nine full innings. Houston was victorious
in the 10th inning. After two were out Martin Maldonado started the attack
as he ripped a single. Altuve was next and he smashed a two-run homer making
Houston the winners and sending the 38,259 fans home happy. Overall Houston
out-hit Boston 13 to 10.
The win went to Ryan Pressly(6-1) who allowed no runs in 1 inning. The
right-handed McCullers lost his no-hit bid when J.D. Martinez doubled with
two outs in the 7th inning. Matt Hall(0-1) was the losing pitcher in relief.
