Catcher Luke Maile had 2 base hits as the Pittsburgh team topped the Miami
club in 13 innings by a score of 7 to 6 at Marlins Park.
The score was knotted at 6 after nine innings. Pittsburgh came out the victor
in the 13th inning. Maile tripled. Jarrod Dyson struck out, unable to help
the rally. Guillermo Heredia then hit a single scoring the run. Miami was
out-hit by Pittsburgh, 16 hits to 13.
